French Trip 2008
In the last week of the Easter term a group of 29 Year 5 pupils went on the French trip to Le Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy. After a rather bumpy crossing we arrived safely at the Château.
The children had a week of enjoyable activities ahead of them and were, from their arrival, immersed in a French environment. They learned an enormous amount of French during the week whilst having fun practising some outdoor skills. Fencing, assault course, archery were amongst the activities.
We also had the opportunity to visit Le Mont St Michel this year, as well as going to town of St Malo. Considering that for some children this was their first time away from home, I would say that the trip was a resounding success and I would like to thank the staff who helped me and the children themselves for being such a good bunch.
Well done to all and I hope you remember this for a long time!
