Strategy Games, an after-school activity, has become a firm favourite among our children for over three years now. So much so that Mr Martin even has a holiday club dedicated to it. This is the second time we’ve included it in the House competition calendar, and the anticipation leading up to it has been just as exciting.
During today’s House Strategy Games, all four Houses used the Dungeons and Dragons game rules to solve puzzles, avoid traps, and battle monsters. Working in groups of four, children from years 3 to 8 raced their characters through a scavenger hunt, with the House delivering the most items back to the starting point being declared winners. The children described the game as both challenging and incredibly fun. The winning house was Phoenix with the deciding points scored in the final move of the game!
