I began teaching in 2009 when I qualified as a Physical Education teacher at Bedfordshire University. I started my career in a Hemel Hempstead state school, after five years, I moved abroad to Abu Dhabi to enhance my teaching career. Here, I taught children in an international school from the ages of 3-13. This was by far the most amazing experience with memories made to last a lifetime.
I moved home to work in a school in Watford, before moving to Westbrook Hay in which I consider the most important and exciting move of my career to date.
I have taught PE and Maths throughout my whole career but have also been a Head of Year for over 7 years. Teaching and caring for students is a passion and I am looking forward to starting full time at Westbrook Hay.
Outside of teaching I have two young children who keep me active and busy. Socialising with friends and family is a key and important interest of mine. I also am a keen netball player playing twice a week at a local club.
