Our Pre-Prep curriculum offers a stimulating environment where our youngest learners embark on their academic journey with curiosity and excitement.
In the Early Years, we focus on developing core skills within the seven areas of learning. The prime areas include; Communication and Language, Personal, Social, Emotional Development and Physical development. More specifically, we also focus on; Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding of the World and Expressive Arts and Design.
Activities are designed to spark imagination, foster independence, and encourage social interaction. Whether they are exploring nature in our wonderful grounds, engaging in creative arts in the Performing Arts Centre, or beginning to understand early literacy and numeracy in the classroom, our Early Years curriculum supports holistic growth. We emphasise emotional well-being and social skills, helping children build independence, resilience and confidence in a warm and nurturing atmosphere.
As children progress to Key Stage One, we introduce more structured learning while still embracing creativity and exploration. In these formative years, our academic approach develops, focusing on strengthening literacy, and numeracy. Lessons become more tailored to individual learning styles, with an emphasis on fostering curiosity and a sense of responsibility. Through hands-on activities, increasing formal written tasks, and an encouraging environment, we ensure that children develop a solid academic foundation, preparing them for future challenges while nurturing their natural enthusiasm for learning.
