On our last day of term, the whole Westbrook Hay community, pupils, staff, governors, family and friends gathered together at St Albans Cathedral for our Carol Concert. Thank you to Father Calum for leading a festive and inspiring service and also for making us so welcome in the most impressive environment.
Almost 70 of our pupils performed during the service either in the junior or senior choirs, singing a solo or leading the procession through the church. Eleven pupils from Years 2 to 8 showed courage by standing at the front of the congregation and delivering a reading. We are also very grateful to Dr Lewington and Mrs Blackwood who helped make the service such a success.
Thank you to our wonderful parents who joined us with this end-of-term celebration, we wish you all a merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in January.
