Earlier this term Year 2 visited the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport to help learn about the history of transport. This learning formed part of their 'Around the World' topic work.
The children had a fabulous day out and were fascinated by all the old vehicles they could explore, as well as the old toys and other gems at the museum. Particular highlights were "driving" the 1950s bus, playing firefighters in the fire engine, watching the model railway and throwing stones down the 200 foot well in the basement to hear the echo. The pupils and teachers all had a great time!
