After completing my degree in French and Italian I initially joined the Civil Service. A few years later, having gained a fascinating insight into the workings of government, I realised that my real desire was to be a French teacher and I embarked on a Secondary PGCE at St Mary’s University.
Since then life and family have taken me around the world, and I have been lucky enough to teach in a number of wonderful schools both in the UK and abroad. Starting as a French and Latin teacher at a London secondary school and sixth form, I have subsequently taught French in a New York high school, a large London primary, two prep schools, topped up with some private tutoring while living in Berlin. We recently settled in Hertfordshire and I am delighted to be joining the Westbrook Hay community.
Out of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my young children, going for hikes and playing tennis whenever I get the chance.
