I have always had a passion for Mathematics and for pupils to achieve personal excellence. In 2009 I qualified as a teacher and have taught Mathematics ever since. Throughout my time in education, I have been fortunate to pass on my knowledge and experience to a range of pupils, teachers, and parents alike. In 2018 I was appointed a Specialist Leader in Education for Mathematics and School Improvement. This allowed me to support departments and schools in driving meaningful changes for all. I have also delivered lectures for trainee teachers in Mathematics where I have been able to pass on my passion to future generations of teachers. For the past six years, I have been working as an Assistant Head Teacher and have missed the day-to-day joy teaching gives me. I am excited to spend more time in the classroom doing more of what I love most.
Outside of school I am a keen sportsman and play competitive cricket and football. I enjoy music and can still be seen performing in open mic nights.
