Nursery had a wonderful morning in the woods with Mr Lloyd.
Mr Lloyd had prepared a campfire for us to enjoy and the children were incredibly excited to have snacks around the fire circle. We spoke about the importance of fire safety and the children were taught how to be safe around the fire, only walking around the fire from behind their log seats. The children were incredibly excited to watch the smoke rise and were very inquisitive about which way the smoke was blowing. Once the fire was hot enough Mr Lloyd then cooked the crumpets, we then smothered them in butter and enjoyed a delicious warm treat. The air smelt amazing of fire, crumpets and chocolate milk! We had such a lovely morning enjoying the beautiful surroundings and sharing snacks as a Nursery family.
