40 Westbrook Hay children from the Chamber Choir, aged between 8 and 13 years, sang with the English Festival Orchestra on Sunday 12th November at the Royal Albert Hall. The Scratch Youth Messiah is held every year, involving schools from all around the country, and this year choirs travelled to London from as far afield as Cornwall, Scotland and Italy!
The children sang 8 songs from Handel’s Messiah beautifully. Once again, our pupils were a credit to Westbrook Hay, and for everyone involved and all those who came to listen the occasion was a truly uplifting experience.
