We are pleased to announce that we will be joining the Mill Hill Education Group.
At Westbrook Hay, our mission is to nurture happy, confident, and successful children who are well prepared for their futures. Similarly, the Governors are securing a bright future for the school by joining a group of larger charitable schools. As an active member of a wider network of charitable schools, we are better equipped to meet the needs of our pupils now and into the future. The Governors of Westbrook Hay are committed to ensuring that the education our school provides, continues to be the highest possible quality, helping our pupils to thrive in a rapidly changing world. The preservation of the distinctive ethos of Westbrook Hay has been foremost in our thinking. By unanimously deciding to merge with Mill Hill, we can look to the future with confidence, continuing to build on our reputation for delivering a high standard of education for our pupils.
Mill Hill Education Group is a charitable collection of independent schools. Its aims of instilling values and inspiring minds have been a key focus since the founding of Mill Hill School in 1807. All schools share an educational philosophy centred on developing thoughtful and responsible students with a global outlook. School life combines academic rigour with a breadth of opportunities to develop young people who can flourish in an ever-changing world.
The charitable collection of schools within the Mill Hill Education Group spans from North London, Hertfordshire, and the South East to as far as Thailand. The values and ethos of the Group are highly compatible with ours.
“At Westbrook Hay, our priority has always been to provide the very best education for our pupils, preparing them for the future by producing happy, confident and successful young people. By joining the Mill Hill Education Group, we are securing long-term stability for our school while gaining access to a wealth of expertise and resources that will further enrich our pupils’ experience. This partnership allows us to strengthen our offering, invest in our future, and ensure that Westbrook Hay continues to thrive for generations to come.” Mark Brain, Head, Westbrook Hay.
“The economic landscape for independent schools is challenging, with many families facing financial strain and schools under pressure. In times like these, the strength of a collaborative foundation like the Mill Hill Education Group is vital. By bringing together schools with a shared ethos, we enhance education and create efficiencies that secure their future. We are delighted to welcome Westbrook Hay into our Group and look forward to working together to provide outstanding education for generations to come.”
