Our first House Drama event at Westbrook Hay is clearly going to be a very popular event going forward. Over half of all our Year, 5 to 8 pupils took part, contributing both on stage and backstage.
Each House was given three plays to perform, “The Twits”, “Doing a Play” and “Kidnapped at Christmas”. We were very grateful to Mr Curtis, Head of Drama at Berkhamsted who judged the performances and the children thoroughly enjoyed his feedback and kind words.
The quality of acting, enthusiasm and participation from so many of the children was wonderful to see. It probably was the right result in that there was a three-way tie for first place.
