Year 8 had a fantastic week away in Shropshire on the PGL trip. The week started with a detour to Drayton Manor Amusement Park where the lack of queuing for rides was appreciated by everyone.
The PGL centre is close to Shrewsbury set in 250 acres. With a host of activities from rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, raft building, trapeze, giant swing and many others the children were busy enjoying themselves throughout the stay. We were brave with our accommodation and camped; how fortunate we were to avoided the heavy rain seen back at School!
It was lovely to have so many positive comments from the PGL staff about the attitude and behaviour of our children who were a credit to the school and their parents!
